St. James Delivers Christmas & Fruit Baskets

The members of St. James Lodge #2, PHA will again deliver Christmas and Fruit Baskets

to Widows and other select members of the craft. The event, which began around 1986, remains under the Chairmanship of Past Master Daniel V. Young, who for as many years has remained committed to this special event. Each year, PM Young and his wife Debra shop meticulously for food items that enable each family to enjoy several complete family meals over the holiday season.

Delivering this year's baskets are WM Damon Bridgeforth, JW Jafaru Ali, SD Garland Wilson, and SS Devon Gallanos.

The 2011 Annual Pre-Valentine's Day Cabaret

The men of St. James Lodge #2 of the Maryland Prince Hall Grand Lodge invite you to our biggest and most popular fundraising event; the 2011 Pre-Valentine Cabaret; "A Cherry Delight". This year's event features a terrific dj, door prizes, raffles, light refreshments, martini drink specials and oh-yeah, lots of cherries.

165th Celebration

On Sunday, April 25, 2010 members of St. James Lodge No.2 and their family members assembled at the Morgan Christian Center, located on the campus of Morgan State University to celebrate the lodge's 165th birthday.  St. James Lodge No.2 is the second oldest lodge in the Maryland Jurisdiction, having records of it holding lodge meetings since before the conclusion of the American Civil War. 

A homecoming of sorts for several of the lodge's members; Seymour Chambers and Vance Young, and a great chance to worship for others, the visit was well accepted by both students and ministerial staff. 

The well attended service were a marvelous inspiration to all in attendance.

Tickets already purchased for Saturday, February 13, 2010 will be honored at the rescheduled event.
